Walking in the dark: this is how to be seen

The fall season has officially begun, so the evenings are getting darker earlier. For your own safety and that of your dog, it is important to stay highly visible while walking. These products will help you walk safely in the dark.

Orbiloc dog lights

An obvious solution for visibility is, of course, the use of lights. With a battery life of 100 to 250 hours, the Orbiloc Dog Dual Lights allows you to be as visible as possible in dark environments.

You can easily attach such a light to your dog's collar, but you can also use it to make yourself extra visible as a walker. The rubber strap makes it easy to attach the light to different surfaces. So you quickly attach it to a collar, your jacket or to other objects, such as a tent or kayak.

Some advantages of these dog lights:

  • Waterproof
  • Shockproof
  • Resistant to extreme temperatures
  • Visible up to 5 km away
  • Visible over a 270° arc and can be seen from all directions

Reflectable paracord and PPM & Reflective BioThane

Reflective products require an external light source to activate their effect. This is because these products reflect the light shining on them, resulting in improved visibility for those on the side of the light source.

Glow in the dark dog leash rope & paracord

With glow in the dark products, no light source is needed for the product to light up. This is because light is absorbed by the material and then released in dark environments.

If you want to work with glow in the dark materials, you have a choice between dog leash rope and paracord in different thicknesses.

Does your dog lead rope or paracord no longer give off a light in the dark? Then try to 'recharge' the material by exposing it to lots of light during the day.
