This is our bamboo rope, made from 100% real bamboo. At 3 mm, it has a slight shimmery, metallic look that sets it apart from cotton or hemp cord. It's often used for (micro-)macramé, weaving projects, bead crochet, kumihimo, home decor and jewellery.

Beyond its distinctive shimmer, bamboo is one of the more sustainable natural fibres available: bamboo regrows from its own root system after harvesting, so there's no need to replant it, which is good news for soil health compared to fibres that require full replanting cycles.
