Determining the size
Before you can make the setup, you need to know how long it should be. This is the rule you can follow with the products in the DIY kit is:
The circumference of the dog's neck (in cm) - 4 cm of the buckle + 3.5 cm for the thickness of the strap.
Are you making the collar for a dog with a neck circumference of 25 cm? Then the length of your setup should be:
24.5 cm (25 cm - 4 cm + 3.5 cm).
